For some odd reason, my fiance’s mother has got the idea that the rehearsal dinner is “to celebrate the groom” ONLY. I think she got the idea because a lot of people are doing a ‘grooms cake’ at the rehearsal dinner. Anyways – I’m totally afraid she is going to blow pictures up of him as a baby, play fact games about him and decorate the whole dinner geared towards my fiance???
Is it totally bad of me to just want a normal sit down dinner that is geared towards OUR love and OUR thankfulness for our attendants and family?
I don’t know really how to break it to her that this is NOT what a rehearsal dinner is. Also, I don’t want to sound like i’m being selfish? I Don’t know. I’m wondering if I should just talk to my fiance and have him break the news to her… HELP ME!!!!!!
