what if you host a rehearsal “cocktail” at someone’s home? (yours, your parents, friends with a big house?)

@bnsp09:  my Future Mother-In-Law is in charge of the rehearsal dinner, but since she doesn’t live here in Greensboro I gave her a few ideas. I suggested Graffiti’s because it’s SUPER close to our apartment and our venue, but I also gave her info for The Village Tavern and Ham’s Lakeside. Ham’s is obviously a little more informal than the other two options, but they do have a room upstairs and the restaurant is a lot nicer than many of the other Ham’s in the area!

I have a couple getting married in Jamestown in May, so I just finished putting together a rehearsal dinner options in the Triad. Weird!

Gianno’s in High Point has an enclosed patio for a private event. Their fixed price menu starts at just $11.95 per person with several menus to choose from.

Also look at Cafe Pasta. Ask for Ray Essa (pronounced “Ee-sah”). They have a nice buffet for $13.95 per person. For 29 people, including tax and tip, that comes out to right around $500. Still a pretty penny, but much more manageable than a sit-down dinner for $45 a person!

@bnsp09:  Not sure what you ended up going with, but my Fiance and his parents went to Graffiti’s over the weekend and decided to book our rehearsal dinner there! They said the food was quite good, and I really like the event menu. It’s going to be hard to decide what to choose!
