What are the best (and inexpensive) rehearsal dinner ideas? I have a clubhouse from work I can rent for free. I’d love to do something with a ‘theme’.. Future Mother-In-Law wants ideas, but I’m all out. Haha. Originally we were thinking BBQ, but we do not have an inexpensive out-door location so that’s out.

@eliseemma: We are thinking of doing a taco bar for the rehearsal dinner. Different kinds of meat, toppings, chips, dip, beans, rice and then a very limited variety of beer, margaritas and sangria.

We are doing a welcome picnic for everyone. It will be in the park, in the gazebo. Make your own sandwhiches, fruit, veggies, iced tea. If we didn’t have the option of doing it in a public space outdoors I don’t know what we would do!
