If you are looking for Southern food, you could try one of the Paula Deen family restaurants:

Based on the atmosphere and the type of food you are looking for I would say Paula Deen’s The Lady & Son’s would be perfect. I went to a wedding reception there a few months ago actually, they had a private room downstairs that was very rustic feeling and lovely. The food was served buffett style (as it usually is in the restuarant) and so delicious.
