    We included our rehearsal invites with the invitations – no point in paying for postage twice! The invites were little hardback books and the rehearsal invite was a library card so they were definitely two separate items. Maybe use different colours for the rehearsal invites to make them stand out?

    I sent them out separately about 10 – 14 days after the regular invites. The feel and style of the rehearsal dinner is sooooo different and I worked very hard on a particular look for my invites, I wanted to send them separately. I also wanted another chance to bring the wedding back top of mind for those people (hey, don’t forget to make hotel reservations!). 

    I had already verbally told everyone about it, so sending them after worked fine.

    We didn’t send any for the Rehearsal Dinner, TBH I’ve never heard of sending invites for this. We just told those who needed to be there.

    We did an email invitation for our rehearsal dinner through pingg.com. Nothing formal, just a quick note to our friends/family involved!

    We sent them seperately about 3 weeks after our invitations went out.. We did this for multiple reasons.. First, the wedding is being hosted by my parents so their names are on the invitation.. FI’s parents are hosting the rehearsal dinner so they purchased and sent out rehearsal dinner invites.. Second, we also didn’t want it to confuse people nor did we want to have to keep up with which invites (we did pocketfolds) had the rehearsal invite and which didn’t. What was great about it was when rehearsal invites arrived, it reminded people who had not yet sent wedding RSVP back to send it back since they now had another RSVP to send back!

    We invited all out-of-town guests to our dinner.  We mailed our wedding invitations on a Monday and sent out an Evite the following weekend.
