What is the proper etiquete for sending rehearsal dinner invitations?
We are having a rehearsal dinner, while I wouldn’t call it formal, it is going to be a seated dinner.
At this time, we are inviting bridal party and family members. We are not sure if we will be inviting Out of Town guests or waiting to see who let’s us know they are coming in on friday night and then inviting them then.
(The hotel will send us a reservation list every friday, whenever people start making reservations.)

My wedding and rehearsal dinner were hosted by different people and involved two different responses. As such, the two invitations were mailed separately.

good point. his mom is hosting the dinner.
i sent my Fiance invitation ideas for the rehearsal dinner. i was under the impression they would be sent out separately. he asked if i could just include them with the invitations. he said he has received them both ways.

@ajillity81: We’re not doing formal invites, we’re just telling people/asking them directly.

My mother-in-law planned the rehearsal dinner and she mailed out separate invites for it.
