(Closed) Rehearsal Dinner invite – please help!

I would word the invitation to indicate that the FI’s parents are paying and hosting the rehearsal dinner. They did give you a sum of money to hep pay for the wedding expenses. The groom’s parents traditionally pay for the rehearsal dinner.

It would be kind to indicate that they are providing the rehearsal dinner. Otherwise, depending on how the wedding invitations are worded, it may look to the guests as if they are not contributing to the wedding at all.

You could let his parents know that you would like to do this and ask if that is ok with them.
