- Wedding: September 2011
So we are having a very laid back rehearsal dinner. The FI’s parents basically gave us one big lump sum of money to put towards whatever for the wedding, but I know that the rehearsal is traditionally thrown by the groom’s side. I am trying to figure out how I should word the invite since my Fiance and myself are really planning that night.
If I put something like ‘You are invited to a rehearsal dinner honoring so and so’
and have them RSVP to me, does that sound weird? Does it sound like we are throwing the dinner to honor us?
I want Fiance to ask his mom how she feels and if she would want people to RSVP to her, but he hasn’t yet and I want to get these suckers done!
Any suggestions or am I thinking way too much about this? Should I wait to see what she says and hope she wants to be involved?
