Yes, some of them are in immediate Camarillo and some are just nearby. And “very close” is relative. Are you looking for walking distance? Otherwise, if you have to get into a car anyway, what’s the difference between 1 mile and 10 miles? The wedding I was maid of honor in, she picked a place in a completely different city and we all drove. My rehearsal dinner and venue were walking distance, we planned it that way, and some walked, but most drove, but only because it was starting to torrential downpour.
I promise, things like that don’t matter, don’t limit based on location. If you ARE limiting based on location, then perhaps you should just drive to your venue, and walk around the neighborhood. That’s what we did, we went to every restaurant and asked for a catering/banquet menu, looked at the available spaces, narrowed down by who was open (there was a giant car race that weekend, so many places were booked up 6 months in advance), and then based it on menu and prices, since we did have options.
But you aren’t here in main Los Angeles, so 10 miles there is a real 10 miles, not like here where it takes an hour to drive said 10 miles. Traffic is not as much of a worry and if people have to get in their car anyway, a few miles won’t matter.
And PS, all of them are on yelp. Promise.
