I know quite a few people who have used Mary Mac’s for theirs. If you like southern food, it is really good.

one place comes in mind… maggianos.

i didn’t know until more recently, but they have an upper floor that does wedding receptions.  and to my surprise, it looks really great!  and you know the food is always good. 🙂

Maggiano’s in Buckhead is in that price range and I attended an event there in that upper area two years ago.  Was nice.

we used Gordon Biersch Brewery in Midtown. The space was awesome, the food was delicious and the staff was great!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Figo on Howell Mill and it was wonderful! The food was fantastic and my mother in law said they were great to work with throughout the planning.

If it’s near Emory, then you could maybe go to one of the restaurants near VA Highlands, which is quite close by.

I know that Murphy’s (amazing food) can reserve an area for a function.  Their food is the best!  One of our fave restaurants.  In that price range too, and great selection of wines also.

I asked my H, (graduate of Emory and really familiar w/that area) and his response was to try Houston Mill House (I’m not familiar w/it).

I agree with Bellenga. There are tons of places in VA Highland. I’m also partial to Murphy’s (American), though I love Pura Vida (Latin American tapas), Noche (Spanish tapas), Parish (Louisiana food) and Harry and Sons (Thai). You can also check out the restaurant at the Carlos Museum on Emory’s campus. I believe it’s called Cafe Antico. I’ve been to school functions there and the food and service were great. I think all of these would be within that price range, excluding alcohol.
