We had our rehearsal dinner at Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union. It was beautiful and the food was amazing. They have a buffet option if you aren’t opposed to buffets, which cuts the cost a little. They also have the option of plated dinners if you prefer that to a buffet. I was pretty happy with it..They have one big room which they will add walls to depending on your party size. I think they have options to hold up to 35, if you have 32 people, you can be seated in the Chinook Room which has a beautiful view of Lake Union. Best of luck!

We’re having our rehearsal at Farestart, which definitely isn’t in Tukwila but is a great venue. They have a variety of different menu/prices and are super great. Tasty food, great place. The nice thing is they’re a charity!

I think we’re going to get a couple food trucks to come out to a park or something (still working out the exact details…)!  Molly Moons and Maximus Minimus, I’m hoping.  My Future Mother-In-Law is really running with the planning, though, which rocks.  As long as you have a location that doesn’t restrict alcohol, or if you don’t care about alcohol, it can be a pretty reasonable way to go.

I second Farestart, considered them for catering before we settled on a venue.  Go there for lunch regularly.
