Hi Bees,
most rehearsal dinner invitations I have seen online were enveloped. My Fiance is leaning towards a postcard. Our rehearsal dinner will be a casual BBQ at our (hotel) venue, outdoors if the weather in September permits.
Would you think it weird to receive a postcard invite? I’m really at a loss here…

Do you need for them to RSVP or is it more to just let them know that they are invited? I think a postcard is fine – probably even an email would be acceptable too.
I’m thinking back to past rehersal dinner invites and I think it’s almost been word of mouth or a phone call. I can only recall receiving one formal invitation over the past few years.

I have a bad habit of ‘overlooking’ postcards I get in the mail thinking they are junk mail. That would be my only concern. I agree with PP, email, phone call or word of mouth are just as acceptable.
