Our rehearsal is near downtown Naperville, and the hotel where all the guests are staying is in Lisle.
We are looking for a rehearsal dinner venue that seats 70-80 people and isn’t extremely expensive (I consider $30 per person too much).
The problem we’re having is finding a place that is big enough and can accommodate us on a Friday night.
Plus, our families don’t want the same type of food that we’ll be serving the next night at the reception (steak and chicken), so that limits our options.
We’re thinking italian or even a pizza joint maybe?
Where did you have your rehearsal dinner?

@kessyud:Yum! Lou Malnotti’s is delish! And what a treat for any out of town guest to get the BEST of all chicago style pizza! Sounds like a fun rehearsal dinner to me!

Maggiano’s has private rooms and is near Lisle ( in Naper, right off of 88). I think you can do family style there. If you’re looking to do downtown Naperville I love Tango (if you like tapas). They have an upstairs room and delish sangria!

Meson Sabika!! Google it. 😉 Excellent tapas. Our favorite family restaurant where we do all birthdays, one sister got engaged there and one got married there. Love love love it. Amazing service too. The manager has been there forever as well as some of the wait staff. For all the right reasons! It is located in a gorgeous old mansion that is less than a mile from downtown Naperville. Almost next to Naperville Central. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Bacon wrapped scallops? Scallops with cous cous? White sangria? Yes please!!
