Quick questions, we’re planning our rehearsal dinner and are stuck on when to do the toasts & bridal party gifts. A little background we’re only having the bridal party & parents at the rehearsal (approx. 20 people). We are rehearsing at 5PM then heading to dinner at 6PM (we want to keep it on the earlier side so we can go meet up with all the out of town guests for a drink afterwards). When do people normally do the toasts & gifts? I put the options I was thinking in a poll, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, we’re skipping the toasts and gifts thing at the Rehearsal Dinner. I would much rather give gifts and thanks in a less public setting. So Mr. LK and I will give the gifts on the day of the wedding as we have one-on-one time with each person.

just went to my friends rehearsal yesterday, they did toasts right after dinner, and gifts after dessert.
although you might want to do toasts before dinner…as it was a buffet, my fellow bridesmaids and i were right about to get up for dessert..and they got up to talk..and it took a while…and i really wanted chocolate cake haha. but it was nice to get gifts after dessert, so I didn’t have to try and figure out where to put it during the dinner.
