The norm is to have a rehearsal dinner the night before. Well I have 3 wedding party members out of state that won’t be here to the morning of. Possibly a few other that are just over the border but unsure if they will be here the night before. The Fiance and I were thinking about doing a breakfast rehearsal. We know everyone will be here sometime in the AM the day of and it’s better than not having a rehearsal. Has anyone had to do a rehearsal the day of etc. or any ideas 🙂

I would just rehearse the night before with whoever is around and wing it— it’s not that complicated really, and the wedding day is already a marathon for any couple. No need to extend it for something that doesn’t really need to be done!

Your wedding day will be long enough and tiring enough without adding in a rehearsal and rehearsal brunch.
Being in a wedding party isn’t rocket science. Someone can fill in the OOT’s in less than 5 minutes. All they have to do is walk down the aisle, stand still and quiet during the ceremony and walk back up the aisle after the ceremony.

As mentioned try to do it the night before with who ever is around and maybe have someone run through it with the others when they get there. Honestly the rehearsal shouldn’t take that long so i don’t see why you cant take a few minutes the morning of. Once it’s done everyone starts to get ready.I’ve never been to a rehearsal but i am sure it’s something a long the line of ok walk down the aisle, now stand there for like 20 minutes, and now walk out this way and meet up for pictures or whatever is next. I don’t think it should be that hard to do. Like i said never done it before so i am taking a gab at it.

This sounds like a lot of stress to me. I would have the rehearsal the night before and then fill the others in later when they arrive.

yeah, i agree with others. just do a reahearsal the night before and fill in the ones who couldn’t make it. i was in a wedding that didn’t do a rehearsal at all and while it would have been better if we’d had a practice run, it worked out ok.

+1 to everyone on sticking to the night before. They will be okay!
