- Wedding: August 2012
We should have included cards in the wedding invites to avoid this whole mess, but we didn’t and need to send invites to those invited to the rehearsal lunch.
Fiance and I are footing the bill for the wedding outside of the rehearsal lunch, which his parents are paying for. Future Mother-In-Law is concerned that it will be offensive to my family if the RSVPs for the rehearsal lunch go back to her, as my family did not get the RSVPs for the wedding…I did. I thought that because they are hosting, the invite should say that and they get the RSVPs. I don’t believe Future Mother-In-Law knows that my parents’ contribution has been minimal. She does not want to offend anyone.
Doesn’t it seem strange that the RSVPs for a lunch they are hosting would go to me? Or is that normal? Help, we should mail them in the next week and I still need to print them out.
