So I recently heard about this book and the 6-year-old boy who is believed by some to be a WW2 pilot reincarnated. http://www.reversespins.com/proofofreincarnation.html
This kid had knowledge of specific plane models and parts that his parents never taught him, knew how this pilot died, knew the name of his aircraft carrier, and named people he served with. No one can figure out how he would have learned any of this information.
I think it is an amazing story and do believe that things like this can happen but that they typically go unnoticed or are explained away.
Do you believe in reincarnation? What do you think of this boy’s story?

Yes, I do. No rational reasoning or anything……

I do not believe in reincarnation, because the concept is inconsistent with Biblical Christianity, which is the foundation of what I personally believe.
However, Scripture indicates that there are spiritual forces — both good and bad — operating on the earth as well as in and through people, so I think that could, at times, account for some of the things we may find mysterious or hard to understand.

I do believe in reincarnation – now – former non-believer. I’m a Christian and have never found anything in the Bible to contradict (or support) the theory of reincarnation. I have my own personal reasons, as well as experiences, to believe as I now do, though. I have no doubt of it.

I believe it is a possibility.

I believe in it. That book sounds very interesting.

@Brielle: Very well put, I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Oh and I also highly recommend the book “Stephen Lives!” if anyone is interested in a good read that will really REALLY make you reflect on how life and death work.

@inky_1: Thanks for posting – I’ll be sure to check that out. 🙂 I’m fascinated by this topic!

I believe that energy/information is not destroyed, so I suppose in an obscure way, it is sort of like reincarnation.
But, no, I do not belive in the reincarnation of the soul. Like @Brielle: said, I feel it goes against the beliefs of my religion.

@Sunfire: Couldn’t have said it any better. +1 🙂

I do not know, anymore than I know if any other explanation for “life after death” is true or not. I do think accounts are interesting, though. But everthing I’ve seen on the topic, as well as the topic of heaven and hell and any other exlanation cannot be proven, so who knows. I am more apt to “believe” in reincarnation than other explanantions, though. I’m def. checking that book out, also.

@Brielle: I love the way you put that! and I agree whole heartedly!
