I was about to throw out my rejected invitation samples today when inspiration struck. Don’t throw out your invitation samples that you reject, you just might find a use for them!
The envelopes are great for trying out a calligraphy font and then tracing. They’re a similar thickness to the ones you’ll send out and you won’t waste as many good envelopes practicing. Or you can use them for practicing your envelop addressing on if you’re going the handwriting route.
And if you get samples and later try a DIY invite, you can print on the reverse side of rejected invitations to get an idea of how the wording fits on a similarly sized invitation without wasting expensive cardstock.
