I have only read He’s Just Not that Into You and Men are from Mars Women are from Venus. I actually read both books when I was with my SO. I just really like relationship books.

I would recommend Men are from Mars because there is a lot of insight into not changing your SO but trying to understand them instead. The book is a little dated and can be a tad sexist on both sides, just as a heads up.

I’ve read a lot of relationship books before, including Love & respect, and 5 Love Languages, but my favorites ended up being not relationship catered:

The Female Brain, and The Male Brain, both by Louann Brizendine

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.

I was also super bored with Love Languages. I like 7 Principles because it’s based on research. It was a recommended reading for a grad school course I took.

Oh, my gosh! I just made this same post 5 minutes ago and had to delete it when I saw yours. 🤣 I’m looking for new ones too!

I recommend:

1. Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment

2. Why Men Love Bitches

3. The Power of the Pussy (I hate the title, but it’s a great book!)

and even books that aren’t specific to romantic relationships, but that I found beneficial like….

4. The Four Agreements

5. Daring Greatly by Brene Brown
