I’m looking for recommendations for relationship books, that aren’t boring 🙂 I’m traveling for work and need an audiobook to listen to. I wanted to listen to the 5 love languages but it was too boring LOL has anyone read any relationship related books? My fiancé and I have hit a rough patch that we’re addressing and trying to work through. I’m NOT saying I think a book will fix our relationship, just looking for something to read about relationships, healthy relationships, how to communicate, etc. That’s not boring 🙂

I have only read He’s Just Not that Into You and Men are from Mars Women are from Venus. I actually read both books when I was with my SO. I just really like relationship books.
I would recommend Men are from Mars because there is a lot of insight into not changing your SO but trying to understand them instead. The book is a little dated and can be a tad sexist on both sides, just as a heads up.

I’ve read a lot of relationship books before, including Love & respect, and 5 Love Languages, but my favorites ended up being not relationship catered:
The Female Brain, and The Male Brain, both by Louann Brizendine

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.
I was also super bored with Love Languages. I like 7 Principles because it’s based on research. It was a recommended reading for a grad school course I took.
