@mamasey:  LOL I ‘LIVED” on Etsy!! And I still visit it very often!!! LOL I went through almost every bridal online shop in search of my dream dress!

I did 80% of my things DIY so I was always on net trying to find different inspirations and ideas!

I am still fretting and running around about my hair! Can’t decide what style to do! lol

I have a hard time reading text speak, but I think you’plasma ying you got stressed out immediately after your proposal and want our stories?

We weren’t stressed.  We used the budget tool on Wedding Wire and the checklist on Project Wedding to stay on track. Early on,we gaveourselves one month to enjoy being engaged. Then, we booked one vendor per month (18 month engagement). After major vendors were booked, I usually tried to tackle one project of decision per week.

I also can’t understand most of what you wrote.  The letter “d” in your title means the word “the” right?

Anyway, I’ve loved wedding planning thus far.  Since I’m planning a semi-destination wedding, the only stress I’ve had has been in scheduling all my vendor meetings when I go for a visit.  Other than that, I’ve loved designing tables and invitations, etc.  Somethat that has helped Fiance and I has been to focus on the big picture- “themes” just seem to complicate things to us.  Pick what you like, make a decision, and move on to the next task.

The first week I was engaged I had a lot of late nights browsing online and planning, but I think it was just the initial excitement. I’m not getting married until next year, so i’m trying to do it all slowly with as little stress as possible, and paying off one thing at a time since I will be the one footing the bill. I recently got a new job in management and I have an 18 month old daughter, so the stress will probably come later on, once I deal with Halloween, Christmas, our birthdays in Jan, feb, and March.

For now I just budgetting everything out and am taking everything one by one. The venue is already booked and paid for so next thing will be the dress! I definitely know how you feel, i asked Fiance what he wanted the colours to be (gave him 2 choices) and he said, “i don’t care, I’m wearing the default suit. I just show up.” He’s been asking me little things here and there though, so maybe that will change?

I am definitley on the computer for hours on end, but I am not stressed, more like obsessed. We have a 17 month engagement though so that helps. So far my only stress has only been finances.

We have a little over 6 months to go and have alot booked already. Fiance picked out the location but he is so busy now, working 80 hours a week (he has his own business) that i feel like i need to decide it all alone.
