Big, huge hugs!!! I am sorry you never got to make great Christmas memories with your family, and that your HS sweetheart was taken from you all too quickly. He definitely does deserve to be remembered, and your current SO (from your other posts) does indeed seem like someone special. I’m glad that your HS sweetheart gave you something special to remember for Christmas. =)

@ScenicRoute:  And you know what? I bet your HS sweetheart is looking over you and hoping you enjoy the holiday season. =)

Oh what a beautiful story. It’s so lovely that you get to keep that happy memory with you for always. Your SO sounds like a special man. You’re so blessed to have have twice been touched by that kind of love!

@ScenicRoute:  That is beautiful. I hope you have a good holidays this year and that is amazing to have such a beautiful memory associated with Christmas, I am sure he wouldn’t want you to be sad because he is gone after he worked so hard to make it a happy time for you. Be happy with your SO πŸ™‚

@ScenicRoute:  Were you guys married?  Did he pass away during your engagement?  Your SO sounds amazing.  It has to be hard to see you remember this man so fondly, and the sadness you feel that he is gone, knowing that this is what made you available to fall in love with him.  I am sure you know that your SO is amazing, but I just wanted to say it anyway.
