- Wedding: September 2010
so I wanted to give my parents and my FH’s mom a remembrance ornament to remember my grandparents (my one grandma passed away 3 yrs. ago and my nana just this past summer) and my FH’s grandfather who he really looked up to passed just last week. I was thinking and looking online for a really nice ornament so every year it would feel like our grandparents were with us at the holidays. Well nothing really interested me so….I took on my first DIY project. I know it has nothing to do with our wedding but after seeing all the great DIY’s on here I got inspired lol lemme know what you think and if it’s a good idea….I’m nervous!!
P.S. – The note inside reads: This gift represents memories, to be cherished every year. A symbol of our loved ones, who no longer can be here. Hang it on the tree, so all the world can see. That thought we may be far apart, the memories will love forever in our heart. (I did not write this, I found it on another site and loved it). This note plus a pocket stone that is engraved with “forever” were put inside the box.
