- Wedding: July 2012 - Baltimore Museum of Industry
About four days after the RSVP deadline, I sent out an email something like this-
“Hi Name, just wanted to touch base about your RSVP for our wedding on July 13th. I know it’s really easy to let dates slip away from you, but our deadline for the caterer is July 1st. If we don’t hear back from you by then, we’ll have to assume you’re a no. We hope you can join us on the big day.”
Got everybody in line, and no one was offended by the reminder.

@Ms Tee-Off: It’s kind of obnoxious. I’d be thinking, “Um, yeah. Duh. I know the date. It’s on the darn invite” and then I’d say to myself “CRAP! Mail it!”

I waited until two days before the deadline to send out reminder texts and messages to 2/3 of my invitees. Guess what? All that responded said thet weren’t going and a few never responded to the reminder either. If u need to send a reminder, go ahead. Who cares how early it is. Its not that critical. By now, they would have already responded if they planned on attending. Just my experience.
