    When you look at it most hollywood marriages only last a handful of years anyway, so maybe they are just trying to make the most of it? Even then though it still seems like a bit much to me doing it every year. More like a way to get attention and not a serious renewal of marriage.

    Yeah seems like its an attention grab or just an excuse to have a party.  I think an anniversary of your marriage should be celebrated privately most years.

    It worked for Heidi Klum and Seal…oh, wait, no it didn’t!

     

    While I think vow renewals on larger anniversaries are an awesome way to celebrate those anniversaries, I am not sure about vow renewals every year. At least not in a formal ceremony.

    Now, sitting down privately as a couple over a nice dinner and recommiting to your vows or making new ones based on your life and experiences together to that date, and what you want going forward? I think that is a great idea!
