(Closed) Rental bathroom completely terrible

@September29:  If you post pics people may have ideas for cleaning.

If you do approach your landlord, ask him if he can re-glaze it.  This is something that can be done to rejuvinate old tubs.  They did this before I moved into an old appartment that had an old fashioned looking Green tub.  The re-glzing made the surface brand new and white.  It think it only costs a couple hundred bucks, so if the landlord says no and you’re feeling really desperate you could even just get it done yourself.

Not an ideal solution, but you could cosider putting down a non-stick surface of some type that covers the bottom of the tub.  I usually hate that kind of thing because it’s impossible to keep clean, but sounds like it might be an improvement in this case.

Well as you say you’re just on a layover there, so try not to be bothered too much about it… About everyone I know incl myself had to deal with similar stuff so you’re not alone!
