Renting is a great idea! Have you thought of scanning the classifieds and contacting anyone selling a Dora there to see if they’d be willing to rent to you if you paid shipping and for cleaning afterwards?

The Dora is a beautiful dress, but be sure to get specific measurements on the bust, waist, hips, and height, since "street size" can be so vague. You want it to fit you perfectly!

I don’t know how many of them would actually rent bridal gowns (many might have been included in the search because they have rental tuxes as well), but this link is to a yellow page search for "Bridal Gown Rental" in New Jersey. They should be organized by city.

I hope that helps! Good luck!

Oh, and here’s a link to a Dora for sale on the classifieds. It’s a street size 4, but it was for sale 8 months ago. Contact the lister and see if it’s still available. If not, maybe she can tell you who she sold it to, and maybe they’d be willing to pass it on. It never hurts to ask!
