That is gorgeous! I agree well worth the money. I am starting to collect my own mismatched china. Not for my wedding but I am hoping to have enough in time for my shower. 🙂

I am so psyched about it. I was going to register for service for 80 as FH is a pastor (think church functions) and we wanted to go green. Then I worried about dishes breaking over the years, patterns being discontinued and I came upon a post by a fellow bee about her mismatched china. Loved it! Now if something breaks that is ok, easily fixed. It will also make the frequent military moves more exciting (chaplaincy). I will have new shops to scout out! Every move means new ground to cover!!! yay! I might have service for 600 by the time he retires but I guess then I could rent mine out to right? Hurray for mismatched china!!!

I am looking into renting china as well but it’s gold rimmed china and glasses (nothing as ornate as your photos). I really wanted the extra elegance I think it gives to the place settings.

I was wondering of you could tell me the information of where you are renting this from! I started collectin my own here in Savannah, but it may be easier to rent! Thanks in advanced!
