I haven’t found anywhere that rents suits for adults, only for children. We are doing suits though because I absolutely love gray suits & I didn’t want a super formal wedding. Fiance wanted a gray suit with light pinstripes in it, you hardly notice them.. I wasn’t very fond of it but I let him have his way.. We got the rest of the suits in the same color but with out the pinstripes. And I’m going to be renting the children’s suits from Mens Warehouse. We looked at a dozen different places before I finally found one I liked that wasn’t an arm & a leg (like Mens Warehouse or Jos. A. Bank). We ended up getting the suits at Jc Penny & for the pants & the jacket it was right at $100 since they were on sale. Once we bought the shirt & the tie it ended up being an extra $50 because we got both of those on sale also.

OMG I’m in the same situation. I love the suit idea but hard to find. We looked into renting at a formal tux place and they only had 1 suit option (not what we wanted) so we looked into a tux without the vest and it was $159. For that price he might as buy his own suit and use it again. We looked at Kohls (good selection and good price) Mens warehouse only rents kids and not sure on how expensive they are to buy. Don’t know if you have a burlington coat factory by you but they have suits too. Any department store should as well. Good luck. I’m just starting to look on ebay for some deals. Some I found they make it for you. A little worried about that but can’t hurt for the price 🙂

We tried to find a place that rented suits, but had no luck.  In the end, we asked our groomsmen if they would rather rent tuxes or pay more and buy suits, and they all agreed that they would rather buy a suit that they would have forever.  We got a great deal at Joseph A. Banks (they have sales all the time), the suits were buy one get two free.  So we were able to get them for my husband, the groomsmen, and our dads, and it came to about $200 each.  We’re so glad we did it this way…a tux rental is usually over $100 anyways, and the suits just matched our wedding so much better.  We let them just wear their own white shirts, and we gave them ties as part of their gifts.

@jenn6051: I’m looking for grey suits as well. Kohls had one I liked but didn’t come in his size and then the only other one was a darker gray suit but I was not a fan of it. I’m going to have to check out JC Pennys. What are your colors?

@Zacharysmom07: Sears had a few Gray ones but only online when I went to our local store they only had the pants.. Kohls does have a huge selection & if you aren’t signed up for their emails you get coupon’s all the time for them.. Honestly the ones at JC Penny looked nice & were affordable & the last thing I wanted was for anyone to have to waste $. Another place I forgot to mention was Express, they are pricey but again if you sign up for their emails they have good coupons.. But they only have a few options..

Our colors are orange, ivory, and apple green. Here’s a pic of FI’s suit jacket, tie, & shirt. (Sorry its so big, I can’t get it to resize!)
