It looks like the Allure dress’s skirt is organza (stiffer than chiffon, so there’s more body to it).  The bodice of the Demetrios dress looks like beaded lace.  I can’t tell what the ruched parts going across the bodice are exactly.  You could probably have them made in organza though.  I think any fabric could work.

@sukidoll:  The Demetrios material looks like taffeta.  it is stiffer than organza which is the Alllure skirt.

also there is a big difference between the bodice of the Demetrios (drop waist) and the Allure (waisted).  You will have to make a decision on which way you want to go with this one because it will affect the overall look when you combine the two.

Demetrios is beaded over lace, but the beading looks very subtle.  Looking forward to following this beautiful dress.

@sukidoll:  You need to be very careful when you cut and paste two dresses.  I have seen some Bees who have been disappointed with the result, because if you can imagine the fall of the ruffels from the hip area will be very different from the ruffels falling from the waist.

Try and find a dress that has those ruffels from the hip line to see if you really like the way they fall before you go through the expense of having a dress made that way.

I am just cautious I guess, but it is best to make sure.  And get samples of the fabric because organza can be shiney or not, thin or thick.
