My beautiful dress is in quality control and due to be shipped any day…Can’t wait! !! I’m ordering a petticoat to give more volume and will be adding a sash once I’ve seen it.

Some comparative pics:

After drooling over the last thread I have come to the conclusion that I suffer from too much anxiety to be able to take the leap of faith to use THE SHOP. But that will not stop me from continuing to revist this thread to see everyones beautiful dresses!!

Decided on selling my replica dress made by THE SHOP. There is absulutley nothing wrong with it except that fact is wasnt “MY DRESS”. Most of you going through the journey know how much hard time and heart goes into the dress so after having it for only 2 weeks i dont want to waste time and force somthing. This dress is sooo beautiful and it will make another soon the be bride VERY HAPPY one day if anyone is interested PM me. I have underskirt as well as a cathedral veil to go with it. all included.

esi.adokowa.aidoo:  ooh love the dress- i’ve just had a quote through, took 3 days 🙂 the dress i’ve quoted for has a very similar top half to yours, with long illusion sleeves and bodice with lace appliques- THE SHOP have instructed me to order colour samples of their fabric so that i can choose a colour to dye the tulle for the base, to closely match my skin tone so as to get the ‘invisible’ effect. Im a bit nervous about doing that without being able to see the dyed tulle against my skin- also a bit nervous about what their tulle will feel like on the skin- im gonna order swatches (once they’ve got back to me about what material will be used for the skirt) so hopefully that will put my mind at rest!

Very excited for the process though! 🙂 xx
