You might have to leave it to them? Currently for me to send a letter to the states it is $1.05 CDN. I’m just not sure that Canada Post would mail a letter with an American stamp…

Yeah, I don’t think Canada Post will mail something stamped with foreign stamps, so I think you might be better off leaving them blank. Like the PP said, postage back to the US starts at a $1 (depending on size of the envelope sometimes). I don’t think your guests will be offended.

I know that in this situation sending one from Canada to the USA, the Post Office provides you with a slip that is good for a stamp that your guest can basically redeem for, so that they dont have to pay for it. If you ask at the Post Office they can help you.

However, it’s probably easier and prettier looking to just get someone in Canada to send you a couple of stamps.   When do you need to get your invites out? I could mail you some stamps if you have time to wait for them to arrive to you.

@pineapplelove:  I wouldn’t be offended in the least 🙂 And if they can’t spend $1 to reply… well…. bigger problems 😉

I’d also be happy to send you a couple of stamps, or, you can order them from the Canada Postal Service

You can also get an International Reply Coupon at the  Post Office that your guests can redeem at their post office for the postage they need.

Otherwise. I would  just leave them off or insert a little card for an email rsvp.

I think I’ve read in a few places that it’s okay to send RSVPs without stamps if it’s to a different country. If you tracked down some stamps it’d be going above and beyond!
