Hi, sorry I have never been there so I am not much help, but tripadvisor.com has reviews and ratings for honeymooners, and there are pictures on there of all the hotels that were taken by guests so that might help you narrow down your choices.  Good luck!!

You should try looking up travel information on tripadvisor.com for hotel and area tips! 🙂  I’m sure you’ll get some comprehensive information there!

hi SBH,

i visited Montreal a couple years ago – a good restaurant my friends and i happend to come upon (after we discovered the one we wanted to check out was closed for winter) was a French place called Restaurant des Gouverneurs. they had an affordable prix-fixe menu – tho i can’t really remember what i had now… just remembered that we were very satisfied! =)

the boutique shops are right around that area – i didn’t get to check them out b/c we only stayed a night and the shops were already closed.

if you’re into animals/nature…check out the Biodome

btw, not to be a downer but please be careful when you are in old montreal… we got our car broken into while we were there… probably b/c we had NY license plates.

 have fun!
