That is gorgeous, I love love love it.  I know, vintage is tiny!  I am 6 feet, 150 (+) and I had the same problem!

Sorry, I am no help, but I love that dress!

I’m pissed that I saw a link to this and did not have access to this beauty when I was getting married! What a dress!

It’s a beautiful dress! It looks similar in style to Dolly Couture dresses:

Maybe if you contacted them they could give you a quote on making one?

@CoffeeandCream:  I like her style… A lot. Incredibly pretty! I don’t have any advice but if you see anything feel free to share! I’m a size 4/6 but am looking for a similar dress. Have you spoken to a tailor/seamstress to ask for an estimate?

have you looked at Casablanca dresses? They don’t have anything just like this but I’ve heard their great with customization and combining different parts of their dresses. I’ve been keeping an eye on Casablanca 2023 but haven’t had a chance to try it on yet.

Is she looking for a tea-length vintage dress or a full-length? If she wants a tea-length vintage in modern sizing, I highly recommend Dolly Couture. I have hard great things about them and they are reasonably priced for bridal. If she’s looking for a reproduction of that gown or one similar, I’d recommend Jasmine’s Bridal. She’s a reproduction designer out of China, but she is highly recommended by other brides around this site. She specializes in lace gowns and might be able to create something from inspiration pictures.

I would say… You’ll have to go the custom route – But that is GORGEOUS

I third Dolly Couture, I would look at their standard styles or go custom with them.  I got my dress from them (Avila Bay with lace skirt), and they’re very reasonably priced and the customer service is fantastic.

How about this from Leanne Marshall? It can be made in a longer length if needed and it’s made to order.

I’m going for a custom Dolly Couture tea-length gown.  They are great to work with and should definately have no trouble making a reproduction.  Also look at Winne Couture if its in your price range (very pricey), they make A-mazing custom gowns with vintage flare.

@cbee:  No problem.  I spent HOURS searching online for vintage-inspired wedding dresses because I’m too busty for a real vintage wedding dress.  So I’m glad to share all that I found.  Now, if only I could get away with 10 different wedding dresses for myself!  I almost went for Winnie Couture, but then I fell in love with this dress:

DC is working with me to make it custom-to-a-T 🙂

Good luck for you, your son, and your future daughter-in-law! 😀
