@Mrs.KMM:  Honestly? I’m about as conservative as they get and I’m really annoyed with most of the candidates. I can’t believe they can’t find anyone better. A year ago, I for sure thought Obama would be out, and now, I think he’s a for sure 2nd-termer.

I wish Chris Christie or Mitch Daniels would have run.

ETA: maybe Ron Paul but I disagree on his foreign policy ideas and I think his actual chance of being elected is very, very tiny.

I would vote for Romney or Paul

I don’t like Gingrich and Santorum’s views. (Santorum wants me barefoot and pregnant).

@hisgoosiegirl Christie is waiting for the next presidential election because it will be bigger without any incumbents. I generally think that’s why the candidates suck.

@PinkMagnolia:  I figure that’s what he’s doing too. Which I know is for the better, it’s great that he’s getting that kind of experience under his belt before running for President.

@PinkMagnolia:  I’ll probably end up voting for Romney……..but I think the discontent with the candidates has been obvious. For a while, each candidate was like ‘the flavor of the week’. I figured Romney would eventually win out, but how Santorum has held on this long I have no clue.

Nice to see a conservative Bees thread!  Honestly, I am not too thrilled about any of the candidates, so far.  I guess, out of all of them, I am hoping for Romney to win.

I live in Virginia, we were apart of super tuesday yesterday. Unfortunately, we only had two people on the ballot – Romney and Paul. I voted for Ron Paul.

I’m not happy with ANY of the candidates. I think the 2012 election is going to be a wasted opportunity for republicans/conservatives. I wish we could have gotten some better choices. I’m 99% sure Obama will get a 2nd term.

If the election was today I would vote for Ron Paul. While I don’t agree with all of his policies, I do like the way he thinks and I’m all for less government. Some days I feel like we’re just living in a giant game of big brother. I hate that.

I like Ron Paul the best but honestly they aren’t giving us much to work with.  Romney annoys me with his mannerisms, I just want to be like JUST SAY WHAT YOU MEAN QUIT DANCING AROUND lol though when I got a bit more information about him it started to become less annoying, considering he is from a conservative background with his religion and is therefore more stoic than I’m used to.  Once I realised that he probably is more reserved because of that and not just being a robot like Al Gore I was a bit more ok with him.  Santorum has SOME things I like but the way he words things, and some of his stances really make me facepalm and say omg man what are you doing lol.  As for Gingrich, he’s shooting himself in the foot more and more, he wasn’t so bad but it does bother me that he has a problem with staying faithful in marriage >.>

I know for a fact I’m not voting for Obama but I just hope I get a good choice to vote for lol

@AnneTossy:  totally agree. They really blew this election. I’m curious how you only had two choices? I guess I don’t really know how that all works, but it would seem that Paul is the odd choice to include instead of Santorum or Gingrich.

I’m not Republican, I’m moderate in my views so I am not in either party but I usually vote Republican and the last thing I want to see is Obama in for another 4 years. So like most posters here I am upset with the selection of candidates to oppose him…slim pickings. I didn’t vote yesterday, I probably would have voted Romney though. Maybe.

@hisgoosiegirl:  Gingrich and Santorum both failed to submit their required signatures on time so neither one of them made it onto the ballot. Which is ridiculous, because Virginia is Gingrich’s home state. How the hell do you mess that up?

I’m with you guys. I was so convinced that Obama was going to be limited to one term and now after watching this shit show the GOP has put on I am convinced he will be a two termer. Don’t get me wrong, I’m about as right wing as they come but I’m not excited about anybody this year. If I had to vote right now I would vote for Romney, I just threw up a little in my mouth typing that… I don’t trust Gingrich he has too much baggage, Ron Paul tries to make things like national security a little too simplistic for me and Santorum, I like a lot of his views but he annoys me because he was a very condescending tone to his voice.

I wish Rubio would have jumped in…

I don’t ever vote in the primaries, but Romney and Paul are my two favorites of the four. I love Paul’s constitutional beliefs, but I don’t think he will ever have enough voters behind him to get elected, so my vote is more valuable going to Romney.
