That’s really interesting, I didn’t know there was such a thing available!

@MrsBroccoli:  Wow, that’s much cheaper than I would have thought.  It will probably be helpful going forward knowing what he might be predisposed to, too!  Plus now that you know what he is, I can totally see it in him – so cute!

Clover is so cute! And it sounds like the results are pretty close! We did this for our mutt but we think the results were off as the weights didn’t match up at all, maybe we will try again!

Interesting, I never would have guessed boxer, but maybe because the ears aren’t flopped?

That’s definitely more affordable than I thought those tests would be.

ETA: All the boxers I’ve ever seen have floppy ears, not the cropped ones provided in the pick. I also see more lab/retriever in the longer snout/face.

I can totally see both of those breeds in your pup!

We did a Wisdom Panel test on our rescue girl too.  I know it isn’t 100% accurate but the results seemed reasonable and it was fun!  🙂

So neat! I want to do this w/ our dog. Knowing what your dog is, you can totally see those dogs in him!

That is so cool! I’m going to buy that kit for my mom for Christmas! I just did a thread on here the other day asking people to guess what sort of mix my parents dog is. Thanks for posting this! 🙂

I can see the boxer in the face and can see the husky in the eyes.  I’m considering getting this for my rescue pup.  He is supposedly full blooded golden retriever (his foster mom had his AKC paapers), but he’s a lot taller than breed standard.  Everyone who meets him asks what he’s mixed with.  I’d love to be able to tell them one way or another.

Ooh, that is awesome! Clover definitely looks like a boxer/husky mix!
