I start my grad school in June and from here until then our academic counselors needs us to prepare a proposal and buget for a research (lit review) we will be writing.
Well, I have a huge block going on right now and can;t think of any topics, especially because our topics have to be about either
gloabalization or the enviornment.
for reference: a peer of mine is doing : Water: the privatization of it and the quality/quantity and accesibility of it in 3rd world countries.

I find the Green Revolution….or more importantly how it’s now causing soil erosion, and damage while making the producers dependent on products from companies like Monsanto to be quite interesting.

What’s your program?
My question as a teacher is: What are you more interested in?
That will make the process so much easier for you as a writer and researcher.
Truthfully, I’m not feeling the fast food thing. It’s been there, done that in lots of documentaries for me, so not really interesting (to me), but it also depends on how you approach/frame it.
Try brainstorming without the internet. Think of what fields/topics you like and try to go from there…

@RayRayFurious: I am a sociology grad in an enviornmental and global studies program (it’s a specialized sec of sociology).
I like this: The globalization of the aid industry<<basically researching the true effects of aid from organizations such as UNICEF,CARE,The U.N on countries like South Africa…has it caused a dependance? is it premediated to be temperary, only aiding enough to help slightly but never enough to permanately get the country out of poverty…
