What is BGD?  I do really love the 6 prong!

Wow looks amazing! The six prongs just emphasise the roundness and seem to make it sparkle more!

BreakfastAtTiffanys: This is my first time actually commenting on weddingbee even though I’ve basically lived on this site the past few months! I’ve been admiring the Brian Gavin 6 prong half round solitaire I think I look at it on the website everyday at some point it has to be “THE RING” haha I do have one concern and it is a small concern it’s about the round part at the bottom of the setting or prongs I guess they call it the donut, but does it get annoying if your wedding band does not sit flush to your ering? or does it sit flush? I know it is a small concern I’m just kinda worried about it. By The Way your ring is gorgeous I’m envious of you right now! haha

BreakfastAtTiffanys:  You are so sweet for posting all of these pictures and answering questions – thank you so so much!! Your setting is gorgeous and your stone is perfect! I pretty much want the exact same set 🙂

Very nice! The stone appears more circular. The  edges of the stone are also less likely to chip with the 6-prong.

BreakfastAtTiffanys:  I would love to see more photos of the ring. I am thinking about buying this ring, but am a little bit concerned about how low the diamond sits to the hand (on some photos I have seen online the side view looks unusual) which has been putting me off choosing it. Would you say the setting looks similar to the below pictures (this is the ring I want!):

Thanks 🙂Ring 1Ring 1 side

This is a photo of the side on view that made it look as though the ring sat a bit unusually with the hand at the bottom.
