mexicalijennie:  Thanks for your reply!  That makes me feel better as I will be putting a rose gold spacer in between my ering and wedding band.

lilsweetie:  I vote for without stones. I love the clean, swooping lines on the basket. (Either way, it’s gonna be gorgeous!!)

I can’t believe you are resetting! Your engagement ring is hands down one of my favorites on this whole site. I think you should move your wedding band to a RHR to keep your heirloom in tact, and get a thinner wedding band. Honestly, your original engagement ring is a stunner and though it’s a classic look it is still so different than every other solitaire.

Your current setting is beautiful. I wouldn’t change it.

That Mark Morrell ring is to die for!  I too prefer it without the diamonds because I love the sweeping look of the metal.

Just an FYI, I had an eternity band and I hated it.   I lost it last month and am replacing it with a half eternity band.  I could never get used to the diamonds on the palm side of my hand.

lilsweetie:  In regards to with/without: Again, there is no wrong choice! Both are stunning. For $100 extra, I’d say 100% go for it if you like it! It’s definitely unique, and very bold in a kind of understated way, you’d certainly wow me. But the band without is also completely gorgeous, and a little more simple and classic. You said your style is usually very simple, so I’d say maybe pick the one without if that’s more your style. But then again, maybe this is the time to try out something bold!
