Unless you have a lot of guests where this will be a problem, I’d suggest calling them up to clarify rather than changing all your cards. If you must reprint the cards, I’d make collumns, Name & Meal Choices. Have several lines for each guest to print their names & check off the meal they’d like.

Some of them will mark it with their initials so you’ll know.  For those that don’t, I don’t think it’s a huge deal to just mark them on the placecards randomly.  If they’re a couple, they’ll be sitting together and they can just swap plates.  My fiance and I have done this at multiple weddings…. although now I’ve learned to just mark our initials to make it easier!

Is there a way to indicate on there for them to put a number of how many of each dish?  Like 2 next to vegetarian, or 1 next to fish and 1 next to chicken, etc.

I wrote, “Please initial choice of entree” on my RSVP cards, but nobody has initialed them yet! Everyone just uses check marks. I’m doing what a PP said and just guessing who wants what. They can always switch their meals at dinner.

i had the same options for my rsvp and did them like this:

M_______________  ( ) accept; ( ) decline

( ) beef; ( ) chicken; ( ) vegetarian

M_______________  ( ) accept; ( ) decline

( ) beef; ( ) chicken; ( ) vegetarian

they were diy so i could include more or less lines depending on the # of guests invited.  i had no problems at all with these.  very user friendly.

if yours are already done up and need to add more guests, include another rsvp card.

@AshleyM623:  can you include a note printed on coordinating paper that instructs your guests to initial their choice?  calling all of your guests would be very time consuming and trust me, when the rsvp’s start coming in, you will be very busy with other wedding things.
