Things to consider:

  1. SD has 70 miles of coastline and is large enough to have 3 microclimates which means you’ll need to narrow down the specific area of SD that the ceremony is in and what is within a 20 min drive.
  2. Time of Year is key. While it’s always tourist season, we have peaks and annual events that can/will affect your planning.
  3. If just dinner and budget is small, I would suggest dining in a restaurant for all the conveniences of tables, chairs, place settings, etc.  They also have a pre-established kitchen and servers that are familiar so you will not compromise taste, timing, etc.
  4. Once you have the above, contact the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau who will research/suggest the perfect options for FREE. It’s why they are there and they will be more helpful than you could ever know.

Best of luck and feel free to reach out to me for any other thoughts. 🙂

You may wanna check out Old Venice in Point Lome, amazing Italian food.  They have a back patio area  that you can use for about 80 people, I had considered it, but we are now having closer to 100 people.  Here is the website  http://oldvenicerestaurant.com/

Good luck! 🙂
