Friends offered their property for a casual BBQ reception (and ceremony if they get their gazebo built in time.) But their old farmhouse septic can’t handle the guests so I am thinking of the fancy little restroom trailers. There’s 8′ one split into a separate men’s/women’s sides and look like a little home bathroom. I detest actual portapotties but these seem nice.
Has anyone done this or been at an event with them? I would be inviting 150+ people unknown how many would show.

@Cammotwin: I have been to outdoor festivals that had them and they can be pretty nice. Plus, they’re going to be clean when you get them so it’s not like your guests will be going in old, dirty ones that have been used all day by hundreds of people. I am sure they will be happy that there’s a bathroom period because I have been to weddings where the bathrooms stopped working during the reception and it was a nightmare!

@Cammotwin: I’ve only seen them at bridal shows and think they’re awesome options! I wouldn’t want my guests in a porta potty!

I have seen one at an event and I would say perfectly acceptable for an outdoor reception.

@Cammotwin: I’ve been to plenty of events (including weddings) where there were porta potties of various kinds and in various states of cleanliness. Are they my favorite? No. Are they a reasonable option? Yes, absolutely. As long as there’s a clean place to pee and then wash my hands afterward, I’m satisfied.

I had never really heard of such a thing! I had to look it up! I laughed out lough when I found one called fancy flush. They look pretty nice. I’d go for it in your situlation.
For those like me who had no idea – above is a photo of a “fancy flush” trailer.

I think these will work out great for your wedding! I’ve used a few and they are quite nice, but I’ve only seen them at conventions and shows.
Your guests AND your hosts will thank you.
Curious: how much do they cost to rent, deliver, & pickup?

I’ve been to 2 weddings with the trailer portable bathrooms – the really nice ones and I have to say they’re great. It’s almost like having a regular restroom. It’s not like a portapotty at all. Definitely a good option.

I’ve been to a few farm weddings where they have the trailer bathrooms and they are NICE! They have actual toilets, running water, mirrors and they’re usually heated/air conditioned! I think they are so much better than porta potties and your guests will really appreciate them!

I’ve used these before at outdoor events and they’re totally fine. I am a person who despises regular porta potties but these are perfectly ok in my books!
