Third fitting and the dress is looking lots better than last time, don’t you think? It had to be taken in one more round, and is now too tight at the bust so we couldn’t zip it up all the way…But here’s a promising progress photo.
Good: I now have a waist! And my hips look less huge.
Bad: The flowers on the tummy adding bulk cannot come off because they leave holes 🙁 Also by removing several layers of tulle we calmed the weird poofiness of the skirt, but now it looks less full than I want. Maybe a mermaid slip could help though?
When it’s all done I will take photos from all angles and decide whether I love it enough to wear it or not. It’s such a beautiful dress to waste *sigh*…

PLEASE wear this dress! It is so hott and amazing and unique. It isn’t like anything else I’ve seen out there and you look so amazing in it. You look so fashionable and couture in it. The other dresses you’ve posted pale in comparison to it and are not even close to as statement or unique. I wish you and your awesome dress all the very best! 🙂

It fits your curves so much better! Strange that the flowers stick out more on the sides now though.

You look beautiful in this dress. If you can’t remove the flowers can you talk to the seamstress about cutting them down a bit on the sides if you’re concerned about them sticking out.

OH! Sorry I didn’t clarify about the flowers.
The dress is still half open at the side seams because she’s still working on it, that’s why the flowers are hanging loose.

Oh @morgan , it was so much worse than the flowers on the tummy 🙂 It looked awful when I picked it up because it way, waaay too big, chunky, boxy, poofy in all the wrong places…Just completely unflattering. Only after major alterations now it is starting to resemble the dress I liked.
