@Bubblesmcgee: Well you can live vicariously through me on that one – I’ve got a teal petticoat to go underneath, and I am probably scrapping the plans for a long overskirt to wear on top during theceremony (because at this point: whatever). My cake topper is actually a silhouette of me in this dress – so excited for that one!

@CakeyP: Teal sounds beautiful! There’s a pic in the styling suggestions for the dress on modcloth of a girl with a peek-a-boo teal crinoline and a teal sash, and it’s sooooo cute.
“(because at this point: whatever)”
^^ this is basically my motto at this point, lol.

@Bubblesmcgee: Love it! Very 1950s. 🙂 You totally rock the pencil silhouette!
I would never be able to pull it off because of my big bottom, lol! I went for a short A-line silhouette. 🙂

@luna_c: Thanks! I had the shoes picked out LOOOONG before the dress- that was one of my only requirements- the dress had to go with those shoes.
haha thank! I was a little nervous before it arrived (the model they show it on on the website is way more voluptuous than me and I thought it might be over-the-top sexy), but I think it’s a good balance!
