Ortho Low alwyas worked poorly for me…they make 3-month packs of pills, like seasomnique. You could always get some breakthrough but you risk that with any pill, considering your wedding is in July. Talk to your doctor about taking two packs back to back, then taking a week off, letting yourself menstruate (mid June), then doing two more months back to back, which should put you in the clear for July. Talk to your doc about the best ways to supress though. When i would have breakthrough bleeding, mine prescribed an extra dose of hormones that i took in addition to my pills to help keep my period away.

but also, if you do get some breakthrough, it likely won’t be much at all, maybe a little bit of spotting. bring an extra swimsuit–just not a white one =]

skip it this month, then if you have breakthrough bleeding so what, you shifted your period a week earlier and have two months for your body to adjust to the new time.

I was wondering if I should do this because (by my calculations if I’m 100% regular, which I usually am) I’ll be probably mid-period to end of period for the wedding. Is it bad if I don’t really care? It’s not like we haven’t had sex before. We don’t do it while I’m on my period but either we’ll make an exception (since it won’t be heavy during this time) or like whatever, we just won’t have sex. I feel like I should care more but I really just don’t. I don’t take BC pills now and I feel like it’s kind of ridiculous for me to start just so I don’t have my period at that time.

I agree with ejs that you should talk to your doctor about taking two packs back to back right now.
