I wrote ours on the back of the envelope, centered, and I thought it looked very nice.

I’m using wrap labels.  I cant afford calligraphy (I envy everyone that can!!!) and my handwriting is terrible.

I think using a stamp would be really nice!  Plus, you can use it after the wedding!

EDIT:  I voted that the label is fine though!!!

I personally think it’s fine, but I’ve seen really cute stamps used, as well.

We used a calligraphy font and printed the address and return address directly on the envelope.

I used labels. They looked fine and no one has said a thing.

I printed it on the back flap of the envelope using our printer in a nice font.

I did just purchase a groupon for a stamp to use on all the thank you notes though! If I had thought about it I would have bought one sooner for wedding invites.

I don’t like the look of labels on something as important as a wedding invitation. I wrote the return address on the back flap on the center.

I made ones to match the wedding/invitation colors on Vista Print.. it was super cheap.. like $8 for 250 of them. I used them for our return address on the envelopes, and I also used them to address the response card envelopes.

Calligraphy is really easy to do at home.  Just buy some calligraphy pens and use your normal writing…it looks great.

@inky_1:  Why dont you just buy a stamp with his last name?  or just your first names? I dont think you can go wrong either way, though!

I used a wrap label on our Save the Dates, and had our return address printed on the envelope flap of our invitiations.  There’s certainly no rule about handwriting vs labels vs stamps.  Do whatever you want!  🙂

Im planning on getting a stamp. Im thinking im going to put both our first names on it. I can at least use if for invites and thank you cards, and if I decide I want to use it after the wedding I can.

I’ll either be computer printing everything out on the front of the envelope, or just computer printing their address on the front and stamping ours on the back. No way am I handwriting any of this!
