I didn’t ovulate the first two cycles off of Nuva Ring. =/ I basically had to go through puberty again.

I was on bcp’s for about 14+ years… i started charting right away and ovulated immediately after. I have had really long cycles Since coming off of them, but finding out that they are due to other health issues. A coworker went off bcps after 18 yrs. and was pregnant the same month!!

My first two cycles coming off were my shortest, ovulated on time and from there they got longer, but still ovulatory.

    good luck!

I didn’t begin charting until the month after I stopped the pill, but my first cycle off the pill was 31 days. From the next month onward, I ovulated on CD16/17.

The first cycle I ovulated around day 42 and AF showed on day 53.  The next cycle was 27/42 and this last cycle was 32 days but I’m not sure that I actually ovulated. :-/

I was on the pill for 15+ years with no break, and switched brands maybe twice.

I was on BCP for 10 years. I stopped mid-pack, got my period about a month later.

I was on BCP for 11 years.  I went off August.  I started temping right when I went off, and based on my temps, I am pretty confident I had an anovulation cycle of 29 days. The next cycle, I started pretty heavy bleeding about 14 days after my period.  I was sort of confused… my temps remained pretty steady and all low.  I then read that you can sometimes start bleeding before ovulation, and this appears to be what happened for me because I ovulated about 5 days after 4 days of bleeding.  Got my period 15 days after that – the whole cycle was about 5 to 6 weeks though because delayed ovulation.  Then, I did not ovulate for 2 months!  No period and temps very consistently low…  Got last period 11/7 and ovulated 1/7 based on temps and predictor kit.

This is basically where my BCP/temp story ends because I got a BFP!  I will say I was really getting discouraged around the holidays because obviously my cycle was completely whacked.  Please try to be patient… I know it is easier said then done, but it does seem to take some time for some of us.

I was on BCP for 12/13 years and I ovulated two weeks after stopping and got my period exactly 28 days later.
