@DeezWifey:  I’ve seen tons of ideas on pinterest.  I’m using mason jars as some of mine, and I plan on either spraying them with Krylon looking glass and spraying them with rubbing alcohol so they look vintagey or tinting them blue to look old, or doing some of each.  I’ve seen these two options obviously, but I’ve also seen beautiful centerpieces with glass bottles wrapped with various shades of yarn, or twine, or ribbon.  I’ve also seen them painted and glittered.  One option I saw where they put rubber bands around the jars haphazardly and spray painted them with a frosted paint, and then once dry, removed the bands.  They put candles in those.  You can do a lot with glass bottles and jars and because they are easily collectable and everyone has them you can get a lot from family and friends collecting for you.  Also there are some great shapes out there, even something like the old looking soda bottles you can still get at the grocery store today.
