@NonannaS:  I’ve been using it a while, and this has been my experience as well. For one cycle, I got a week’s worth of high fertility readings and gave up/just BD’ed because I was wasting so much money, but other than that, the O dates have been spot-on.

@NonannaS:  I used the basic digital, with the smiley/no smiley. I found it gave O date correctly, but during my edcond cycle the reader stick broke. It only read error, no matter how many sticks I used, and I know I was using it properly. I think it’s too expensive if I can’t trust the reader IMO. I love the cheapies becuase of the subtlety of how dark the lines are/aren’t. I learned that I always O within 12 hours, and often overnight by using the cheap ones, which is helpful.

@NonannaS:  Thanks for the review! After 6 months NTNP, Darling Husband and I have decided to go this route. It seemed like the easier choice (vs. taking my temperature) since I have long and irregular cycles. I used the regular (smiley vs empty circle) for my first cycle. After reading your review, I am wondering if I should try the advanced version. In any case, good look!

I used the Advanced model too.  I had 6 days of flashing smiley and then finally got a solid “peak”.  A little frustrating as I only expected 2 days of flashing, but it was right about O date.  I used cheapies as well (couldn’t deal with testing only once a day), and got the same results.  I’m on the fence about buying again next cycle because of the cost.

Also, Amazon is not currently selling them, my guess is because most of the reviews are very negative.  I’m wondering if I’m better off going with the non advanced model, much better reviews online.

I tried this OPK and I got 7 days of the flashing smiley face. It was frustrating and expensive so I think I will try the basic one to get an idea of when I O.
