I actually looked into this resort with our travel agent for our honeymoon and she said it was maybe a 3-star resort. I was kind of disappointed because we stayed at Iberostar Pariso Beach in Mexico before and it wasn’t bad at all. However, when my travel agent said the one in Punta Cana was not good at all I really trusted it. She said it was very dirty and crowded, the food was not great and the service wasn’t the best either.

That being said, if you’ve never traveled to an all-inclusive before, I would stick to staying in resorts that are 4 or 5 stars. For me personally, I’ve noticed that service, food, quality of the resort, cleanliess are always better in the higher rated places. I also tend to feel a lot safer in regards to walking around the resort, being on its beaches, and of course leaving stuff in my room and it not getting disturbed while we’re not in there.

Went there for a destination wedding, had a blast.  Use trip advisor to find good excursions.  Several restaurants to choose from besides the buffets.  I’d go there again in a heartbeat.

Read the trip advisor reviews about how to keep the room cool while you’re gone and other good tips.  I was thankful I did.  It was clean, no complaints.
