I decided to get the liquid foundation and the trasnlucent powder. My skin tone changes a lot from month to month and I spray tan if I have something to do so this way all ill have to buy is the liquid.

This stuff works pretty good so far. Ive had it on a little over 2 hours and did a work out and no shine at all.  I didnt even put primer on!

I’ve tried this and liked it too, but decided there was no way I could wear it on my wedding day because it looked terrible in photos!  I was left wondering why it was called “photoready”… It’s a great everyday foundation but I’m still looking for something that looks as good in photos as it does in person.

I really want to try it, but drugstore brands make me nervous because I have had too many bottles turn out to be the wrong color once I got it on my skin. How did you bees pick the right shade? I presently use foundation that I had applied and sampled at Sephora (Urban Decay Surreal Creme to Powder in Nirvana, to give an idea of the color).

@Amaryllis: I have the same problem getting the wrong color foundation!  My current tinted moisturizer is a little too dark but I don’t want to waste it.

Mishelleez: It was very reflective in photos, so with the flash it made me look VERY pale.  I even tried to go a shade darker just to see if it looked better in pictures and it didn’t seem to help.  In some photos you could even see a slight glittery shimmer to my face that I wasn’t very fond of.

Amaryllis: Target allows you to buy makeup, try it out, and return it if it’s the wrong shade(even if you’ve opened it and used it!).  When I was looking for a drugstore brand foundation I just bought a few different shades, took them home and tried them, and returned the ones I didn’t like.  I know some other drug stores allow you to do this too, but I’m not sure which ones.

@MaggieGirl: The nearest Target is an hour away. I will have to ask around. Thanks!

Im pretty sure Rite Aid lets you buy and return I had no idea target let you do that!

I just picked a color and hoped for the best I never wear foundation and had no idea if it was going to match or not but it did perfectly!

Those of you that are saying it doesn’t photograph well, can you please post pics so I can see what you’re talking bout?  Did you put powder on top of it to “seal” it, or does it not need it?

I’ve been looking for a good wedding-day foundation and powder, since my nose gets pretty red and I’d like to avoid Reoudlph-photos. I would also like to see pics from MaggieGirl or anyone else who did not like how the makeup photographed.
