has anyone been to this garden. i’m suppose to go check it out soon to see if its where we want to get married since we didnt like our other location.

It’s a really pretty garden. I will add that when Darling Husband and I checked it out last summer (don’t remember what month) it smelled awful as you got closer to the lake. Which is fine, if you’re doing the ceremony there you will want to be a bit further from the lake.

@sparrow02: haha yup! so you know what I’m talking about! I know there are times when it smells bad and other times when it doesn’t. You just need to decide if it is going to bother you or not. The part of the garden that is closest (and that smelled) to the lake isn’t ideal for a ceremony anyway so being in the front half of the gardens is best anyway!

i’m from hamilton, i know “the smell” stelco is the worst. we will have 3 hours booked. if it isn’t horrible then i think by the time the 3 hours are over we wont notice it.
